TAT RedDish demo on the ARM® Mali-200™ GPU
TAT has launched a new demo called Reddish together with ARM. Reddish is a TAT Cascades powered demo UI, that has been developed for the Mali-200 GPU based target hardware.
New to this demo is the hardware accelerated 3D geometry, taking full advantage of OpenGL ES 2.0 shaders and anti aliasing functionality, on a WVGA (800x480) touch screen. In Reddish, all contacts and communication applications can be accessed from one place. Navigation between applications in the foreground and widgets in the background is seamless. TAT and ARM will showcase this demo live at the upcoming ARM TechCon3 show in Santa Clara, USA - October 21-23rd.
About Mali-200 GPU
The ARM® Mali™-200 graphics processing unit (GPU) is compliant with the full range of Khronos embedded 2D and 3D graphics standards: OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 1.1 and OpenVG 1.0. This confirms the Mali-200 GPU as a fully conformant graphics acceleration solution providing industry-leading image quality and performance for all types of graphics rendering, from 2D user interfaces on mobile phones to 3D gaming on high-definition displays.
