TAT at Freescale Technology Forum

By:Ola Larsén  Posted in:News

TAT exhibits its new HMI cluster at the Freescale technology Forum in Orlando, USA

TATs cluster demo is running inside the hyped Freescale concept car, sometimes referred to as the “Mad Max car”.

Vehicles are today equipped with far more technology then we are used to — with everything from eco‐system driving and sign recognition, to “dead angle” assistance and battery status. Automotive manufacturers have more or less jumped a couple of generations in graphic development and have had a close eye on the developments made in other electronic market segments, such as the mobile device industry — wanting the same user experience in cars.

This means that automotive manufacturers have quickly moved from simple analog or semi-analog displays to advanced graphical clusters. TAT enables automotive manufacturers to effectively realize their future ideas in clusters without compromises, either on the user experience, performance or the inclusion of high‐end graphical capabilities, such as Open GLES 1.x/2.0, 3D and Open VG.

Open doors to innovation

By:Ola Larsén  Posted in:News

We are currently working on several new inspirational demo concepts. This time we don’t just want to show it to you when it is done, we want your input to shape the very outcome of the video.

We are letting people vote on which area they think is most interesting. We also want opinions, ideas, and sketches and will keep an open dialogue while we are working on the concept.

This is an experiment from TAT to work with open innovation where we let people from outside TAT influence our concept’s creative aspects.
